Could the NFL Draft be coming to Baltimore in the near future? It certainly seems like a possibility that the NFL will potentially weigh over the coming months.

With the Annual League Meetings happening in Orlando, Florida, this week, media members had a chance to speak with Baltimore Ravens team president Sashi Brown on a number of different topics, including the upcoming draft.

“We’ve begun talks with the NFL. The draft has become such a major tentpole event for the league. A lot of cities are interested in it," Brown said. "We think Baltimore’s a great venue for it. There was talk to the league. … So, [to be determined] and sort of we have to convince the NFL it’s the right venue for them. But we’ll put that pressure on ourselves to try to bring one to Baltimore in the relatively near future.”

Brown added that the league is already “three" or "four years” out in terms of planned destinations for the draft. This suggests that Baltimore could host the draft in 2029 at the earliest.

While Brown says they already have future locations planned, official announcements haven’t been made past this year’s being in Detroit and Green Bay hosting it next.
