Orlando Magic Have Fans in Mind as Playoffs Approach

ORLANDO - The Orlando Magic is enjoying its best season in 13 years after a 118-88 win against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday at the Kia Center.
The victory against the Grizzlies was the team's 43rd on the season, the most in franchise history since the 2010-11 season. Coach Jamahl Mosley spoke about the impact of playing one of the best seasons in a long while.
“You know, I really just think it’s so, so exciting for this organization, for this fanbase who has obviously waited a long time to have a group of young men that represent the game the right way," Mosley said postgame. "They play for each other; they play for one another and the continuity in which they show. I just continue to think that it’s a joy to watch these guys play and continue to support one another, it says a lot about the camaraderie and chemistry. Not just on the court, but off the court as well. And you have to give so much back to the fans who continue to support the good and the bad, no matter what’s happening. This group has embraced that wholeheartedly.”
The Magic still has eight games left to play, giving the team a chance to build upon its historic season and to improve its playoff positioning. The Magic's three-game losing streak earlier in the week pushed the team back to fifth place in the Eastern Conference.
The Magic is back in action on Monday against the Portland Trail Blazers. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
