Many know that defending Zion Williamson is not an easy thing to do, but the Orlando Magic was able to do it in their recent win against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Orlando Magic recently had a five-game win streak, and a lot of it's success is due to the great play of the team's defense.

The team was able to get a 121-106 win against the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday, March 21, and it was able to contain Zion Williamson. Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley knows how tough it is to guard the big man, and he talked about it in his postgame interview.

"Zion, he’s a problem," Mosley said. "It’s tough to try and stay in front and take charges on him. You saw a couple guys got hit dead on. But again, it’s the willingness and the sacrifice for our guys to do that for the team. I think that’s the most important piece there."

The Magic was able to draw four offensive fouls including three changes on Williamson, as players were able to step in front of the star while he was trying to make a play in the paint. He also finished with eight turnovers, with four of them being those offensive fouls.

The team's defense is one of its calling cards, and could be one of the parts of the team that carries it far in the postseason. The team has been hot as of late despite its recent loss to De'Aaron Fox and the Sacramento Kings, and if the team can keep it up, then it could continue to rise in the Eastern Conference standings.

The Magic will be back in action on Wednesday at home against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET from the Kia Center.
