On Friday evening, the New York Knicks are playing the San Antonio Spurs (in Texas).

During the game, Donte DiVincenzo made exciting New York Knicks history.

Via New York Knicks PR: "Donte DiVincenzo has recorded his 242nd three-pointer of the season. He now sits alone as the Knicks all-time single season three-point leader."

DiVincenzo is in his first season playing for New York and has had an extremely productive year.

The former Villanova star is averaging 14.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 44.1% from the field and 40.0% from the three-point range in 71 games.

The Knicks are the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 44-28 record in 72 games.

They have gone 8-2 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a three-game winning streak.

Most recently, the Knicks beat the Toronto Raptors by a score of 145-101.

DiVincenzo was the 17th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft and is in his sixth season in the league.

In addition to New York, he has also spent time with the Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings.

His career averages are 10.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 42.6% from the field and 37.4% from the three-point range in 344 games.
